I can understand that, but I have no better idea than a (vertical or horizontal) tab bar to switch from activity to activity. Zoom take too much resources and I don't think it make sense on such small devices. Open question to every reader: How to switch from activity to activity on a MID? Something that is visible to the user right from the start and do not take too much space. One other idea would be a slide down display like yakuake, blender config, and iPhone context menu. |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯\/\/\/¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯| | |.................................................| | |.................................................| | |..............APPLICATION..................| | |.................................................| \/ |.................................................| |_______________________________| |¯|¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|¯| |..|...000...000...000...000...000....|..| |..|...000...000...000...000...000....|..| |..|...000...000...000...000...000....|..| |..|___________________________|..| |..................................................| |_______________________________| In that case, the top area would only be a panel with autohide, but I don't like that, it fell to much like a palm and I don't like those devices. On netbook, I would use tab bar it work well. iPhone and iPod touch solved the problem with the "only one application at the time". I work, but I am not sure it will work for KDE and it is not how plasma work at all. Any better idea?
