Just for clarification: Nothing here is set in stone, it's based on my quick LO Calc sheet and the initial release date wrt to the 4-month cycle, only. I'm not saying that this is the "best" way to go or that this "should" be the schedule, it's only one option.

I'm sort of aware of these CI issues (though not in detail, of course) which is why I wanted to kick off a discussion on that schedule "early".

Given this is essentially planned to be an LTS release (given the support out to mid-2027) that is quite relevant here I'd say.

I see the argument for this. Are there any distro maintainers on this list, other than Rik Mills that could voice an opinion? Or is there a better place to ask for distribution wishes wrt the schedule?
