I'm supportive of doing that sort of thing here. Then the Kicker and Kickoff search fields would even be consistent with one another, which would be a nice benefit. Not bad. I'd have to rework this Header.qml to make it more like Kicker though. But that's only if everyone's really sure they don't want the unfocused search field.
