Hi, The statement that org.eclipse.equinox.ds is not needed at all is not 100% correct.
Without it OSGi-Services behave differently (eg if there's no reference a service is GCed and created upon next request so they are not singletons in the application anymore!) so I wonder if removing it would causes severe problems?
