Hi, it seems to be related to https://wiki.eclipse.org/JFace_Data_Binding/The_New_Binding_API. I would use it if this were an official API, but at the moment I only use the "normal" JFace databinding framework. Since the Wiki page says that this project was "never finished" I assume no one uses it.
