Interesting - there are two paints points caused by Christmas. My perception is that the release is too close to Christmas and that we can't support users well (in a timely manner) after the 2020-12 release because of it.
But from the dev perspective, the -03 M1 date is too soon after Christmas. For the platform there were essentially no days to do anything in M1 for devs who didn't start work until 4 Jan again. The interesting thing is that the proposal to bring the 2020-12 release 1 week earlier does lead to a longer M1 period. From early Dec until mid Jan. WDYT Wim? And others?
