Hi Niraj, After those comments Andrey never resumed providing feedback or looking at alternative options. FWIW, the comments also needs a third opinion because I am not familiar with the design and the suggested approach wouldn't fix the issue we are seeing for our Ubuntu users. I pinged Alexander and also added him to the review but he seems to be busy and unable to respond.
Is there any other SWT committer available to get involved?
