Hello,

You may have this kind of error if you are behind a proxy. If this is the
case, you will have to edit the file ~/.subversion/servers and set the proxy
address with something like this:

[groups]
sourceforge=*.sourceforge.net

### Information for the first group:
[sourceforge]
http-proxy-host = your-proxy-address
http-proxy-port = your-proxy-port
