Hi John! I am a Linux newbie and still technically illiterate. I was attrected to free softeware mainly by the ideology of free as in free speech, rather than free as in freee beer.
I've taken a look at the Tinyvid.tv and my impression is that it is a very good idea, still in an early stage. In deed I have spent hours searching the internet for .ogg videos, without great success, so ther is definitely a need for this kind of site. I also tried to convert my favourite yuotube video http://tinyvid.tv/show/1oxezn5dn3kzs . It was not difficult in any way. Being ableto recommend it on facebook is a necessity for a video site. I'm glad that it is incorporated already. As a non technical user, what I notice is the design and the numbre of avaliable videos,. Both are kind of frugal, but I expect this to change.
