French keyboard here as well... The keyboard mapping is not right, under
X anyway.
Maybe beacause it's so different from "standard" US ones, for non letter
keys.
So a and z are inverted, and the m is on ":"
I had hard time finding .( found on , and <) , but i could not find keys
such
as $ and \ and : Numbers are totally wrong as well. And keyb fr under
msdos
does not help.
I think i saw a patch for keyboard problems some time ago on the list,
but
i have not tried it. I think this patch is still waiting to get into
cvs.
I will give it a try and give feedback.
