Well, if you new to Linux.  Running plex is maybe not a good start.  First,
there is no 
stable release yet and you will have to compile it, install an OS image and
so on.
Second, there no step by step install instruction (for now) but you could
read documentation.
Plex is under developpment.

Otherwise you could use wine to run your DOS/Windows program under Linux or
even download vmware demo, it's easier to install for now.
