I've seen this in a live machine. Windows 95 can have problems with HDDs > 8GIG if there is no BIOS support for interrupt 13 extensions.       scandisk... so just don't use it. Do

      To find out how to not run scandisk automatically, maybe it's /iv or
      something.

      As for what the problem is, incomplete emulation. Feel free to fix it,
