(OK, the Plex86 list seem to be mighty confused right now. I sent the stuff
below to [EMAIL PROTECTED], but nothing showed up on the correct list.
Anyway, sending unsubscription requests to the list is still wrong and not
nice. Please try talking to the mailing list software at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
instead.)

My original message follows:
---------------------
The Plex86 list is handled by a mailing list software called Majordomo. There
is a number of commands that this software understands. Among those is a
command called "unsubscribe".

For some reason, the spammers that do their best to brutally kill off this
list, and admittedly has done a _very_ good job, send their crap to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] The fastxs majordomo doesn't know anything about a
list named "plex86-list", and to be honest, I don't understand why it accept
and distribute mail sent to that address. But then again, I'm no mailing list
admin, and have no experience handling Majordomo.

Anyway, the correct address to the Plex86 mailing list is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Given this, you can talk to the Majordomo software at [EMAIL PROTECTED],
and tell it to shove your Plex86 mailinglist membership. Here's how:

Send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], with this in the body of the mail:
"unsubscribe plex86" (Don't include the quotes, naturally.) This will
unsubscribe the address the mail was sent from. If you unsubscribe using
another address, send "unsubscribe plex86 [EMAIL PROTECTED]"
instead. (Yeah, no quotes, and the address should be the address Majordomo
send Plex86 list messages to. Look in the headers if in doubt.)

The subject line will be ignored by Majordomo, and mails sent to the Plex86
list will only be distributed to everybody on the list, not read by Majordomo.

Happy unsubscribing, everybody!

/Sam
