It almost sounds like the code expects that the BOUND instruction will be
rewritten by the time control gets back to itself... Sure there isn't
something odd with the exception handling that would intercept the program
counter before BOUND gets redirected to itself?

I'm probably smoking crack, but thought I'd ask.
