Hrrrm, while the NE2000 is one of the most supported cards, it is
also a major pain. Since it's typically an ISA card, you have the
whole mess or IRQ/IO and/or PnP. PCI is simply much cleaner. Not to
mention that an emulation of a more modern card would support
transfer rates far in exess of 10mb/s.
