Are the fonts in a typical VGA BIOS copyrighted? Does anyone know of any
public domain or GPL or freeware fonts that we can use? Really just 8x16
or close in size is needed (or 8x8, 8x14, etc.) because I can adjust
them if needed. Does Mandrake/Linux ship with any such font (either
bitmap, or can be converted to bitmap). Where should I send my VGA BIOS
source code? Can I use the 'cvs' command to do that? Or to an ftp? Or
should I e-mail to someone????
The only thing that is not distributable are the fonts, so I'm waiting
for a reply on that.
