I hope Kevin won't abandon bochs. There were plans to share the same
device virtualization code (pci,video,sound etc.) among both projects.
Perhaps he will return to bochs in the future.

Could be that cause a branch predictor of K6 is one of the best and it's
very important for integer code - I think K6 were faster than PIII/Athlon
when running at the same freq (let's say 400MHz) on integer code.
Unfortunately, K6 arch doesn't scale well beyond 500Mhz and FPU is weak.
