By the way, if you need something NOW, take a look at BOCHS. It's a
component of plex86 but you can build it stand-alone and it's farther
along then plex86. I can run DOS 7 in BOCHS and everything works quite
well; including using EDIT, etc.

There's a bug I had to fix in either VERR/VERW or ARPL. It doesn't get
the type checks right. I had to check with the intel docs to fix it. I
don't know if this applies to plex86.

I can't get my internet connection to work under linux because kppp
seems to demand I know my DNS name server and I don't know how to get
it. It seems to be automatically detected under Windows. Thus I can only
download plex86 via a Windows CVS client and it messes all the text
up... I complied plex86 successfully but I had to delete some lines that
were messed up due to the CVS client messing with the text, and, hehe,
it doesn't get very far.
