What I would like to know is, why the split? Why not have bochs and plex86 as one package? Have it so that virtualization is an option that is available only on certain platforms, while most platform support is Bochs. This way you can keep developing the technology that came from Bochs (which aparently is dead), and also be able to develope technology in plex86 to get higher performance AND cross platform support, while most high performance will be on the unix environments.
