Just curious - do you have a main rules file that includes other rules
files (main one that conditionally includes one or more include rules
files, such as one for home page, one for interior landing pages, one
for other interior pages, etc.)? If so, perhaps you've copied pasted
your <head> area rules into those include rules files and so you're
adding them more than once into the resulting theme.
