Hi, there is an interesting website called ohloh (http://www.ohloh.net/) which is an "open source network that connects people through the software they create and use." Whatever this means. Anyway, all sort of open source projects are listed at this site, also plplot was already there:
http://www.ohloh.net/projects/10094?p=PLplot It's actually quite interesting: it scans the svn codebase about who contributes http://www.ohloh.net/projects/10094/analyses/latest/contributors it also examines the code (what license, what kind of language) http://www.ohloh.net/projects/10094/analyses/latest I added some links, the sf rss news feed and tags. Maybe it's of interest for others as well. They estimate the the plplot code is "worth" 39 person years, which accumulates to about $2,132,745 ;) Regards, Werner -- Dr. Werner Smekal Institut fuer Allgemeine Physik Technische Universitaet Wien Wiedner Hauptstr 8-10 A-1040 Wien Austria email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] web: http://www.iap.tuwien.ac.at/~smekal phone: +43-(0)1-58801-13463 (office), +43-(0)1-58801-13469 (laboratory) fax: +43-(0)1-58801-13499 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
