On behalf of the PLplot core team of developers (see
https://sourceforge.net/project/memberlist.php?group_id=2915 for a list of
members of that team), I am happy to announce that Doug Hunt has recently
joined our team.

Doug's has been the long-term maintainer of the independent PDL (Perl Data
Language) bindings for PLplot, and he was the author of our 'mem' device
driver. Recently, he contributed an important patch for our 'memcairo'
device (that allowed it to work for the first time) and is continuing to
work on extending the functionality of that device.

Welcome, Doug!

Alan
