Hi,
I sent the mail above to Alan yesterday and resent it to the list a
minute ago. I actually found a solution for this problem. Looking in the
Cmake mail archives I found discussions about that topic, but no nice
solution. It was suggested to link to system libraries directly
(target_link_libraries(exe gdi32 comdlg32)) but then we would have
warnings from cmake 2.6, because we don't use absolute paths. But it's
possible to get the path to the MinGW C compiler from CMAKE_C_COMPILER
and the import libraries path is always at the same position relative to
this binary. Then I find gdi32 and comdlg32 via find_library(
GDI32_LIBRARY gdi32 HINTS ${MINGWLIBPATH} ) and the correct import
library is found. I commited this solution and ask other MinGW users to
test the latest svn code.
Thanks,
Werner
