I am happy to announce we now have complete OCaml bindings and complete non-interactive OCaml standard examples which give a clean ctest compare result for all platforms accessible to Hez, Andrew, and me. I have changed the OCaml paragraphs in README.release accordingly. Also in order to encourage wider testing of these bindings I have enabled OCaml by default.
I understand that Hez plans to implement the interactive examples (14 and 17) shortly to complete the standard set of examples and test the unique PLplot API calls that are exercised by those examples. I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Hez for his stellar efforts in programming the OCaml bindings and examples, and Andrew for doing the necessary CMake work to get these bindings and examples properly configured for PLplot. For more about OCaml consult the wikipedia article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocaml and links from there. That article states "The native code compiler is available for many platforms, including Unix, Microsoft Windows, and Apple Mac OS X." So I ask all of our developers to give it a try now.
