I had that extra debug message right in front of me when I ran ./get-drv-info ps by hand, but my eyes just skipped over it without seeing the significance. Oh well. Thanks for spotting that and making the fix so quickly. A fully loaded PLplot builds and ctests here now (revision 8909) without problems with the -fvisibility=hidden gcc, g++, and gfortran options.
