Besides the minimum version bump, I have also (revision 9375) removed some
CMake-2.4.x Fortran cruft that is no longer needed, made an official notice,
etc.

I have noticed some references to CMAKE_MAJOR_VERSION (which was previously
used to help decide whether we had 2.4 or 2.6) in the debian files,
./debian/patches/12_cmake-2.6-fixes.diff
./debian/patches/12_cmake-2.6-fixes.dpatch

So, Andrew, you may want to update those as well.

There is probably other 2.4.x cruft or references to CMake 2.4 lurking in
our source tree, but I hope I have dealt with most of it.
