I had a very quick look at the README.qsastime_API document.
ctime is already used in the C standard library (see time.h) so will need to be
renamed. Perhaps all the functions should be prefixed to avoid further clashes.
Also at some point it would be useful to address localization issues with
regard to day and month names.
