Since DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH doesn't seem to work, I am completely stumped on this one. Therefore, it is time somebody else here that is more knowledgable about Mac OS X linking issues stepped in to help you further.
I am pretty sure nobody else has ever encountered this issue, but they may not be using macports for the dependent libraries that Plplot needs. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
