DONE as of revision 11209.

With BUILD_TEST=ON try running examples/python/test_plsmem.py in the
build tree to generate results (e.g., mem_RGB.png; memcairo_RGB.png;
memcairo_RGBA.png; memqt_RGB.png; and memqt_RGBA.png) for all
available plsmem(a)-related devices.

This amalgamated example also works in the installed examples tree.

The previous separate examples (test_mem.py, test_memcairo.py, and
test_memqt.py) have been removed.
