Thanks for your report.

I cannot reproduce this for

irwin@raven> gnatgcc --version
gnatgcc (Debian 4.6.3-14) 4.6.3

So I suspect you have a newer version of gnatgcc which is being more
careful about types than 4.6.3.

@Jerry: is there a simple fix for what Orion has found?
