Apologies. Better late than never. I've finally got back to look at your patch 
for plvect to ensure it honours any global transformation set with 
plstransform.  I've applied a slightly modified version using the TRANSFORM 
macro so it will work even when no transform is set.

To test it I have modified the C example 22 to include a vector plot with a 
global transform. I also added a filled colour contour plot for this page too 
to demonstrate how this works since we don't have any examples (other than the 
map in example 19) which use plstransform. I also added in some lines drawn 
with plpath since again we have no examples of using this. I think this is a 
useful addition to the examples, so if people are happy with it I will 
propagate the changes to other languages.

In the process I discovered a bug in the autoscaling for vectors, so I've fixed 
that too.
