@Hazen: DONE. Let me know if there are any other semi-urgent website changes
that should be made before our next release which will occur
presumably a couple of months from now.

@Everybody:

Speaking of that release, I would like to encourage everybody
interested at all in PLplot development (i.e., presumably most
subscribed to this mailing list) to at least do some development (say
at least a bug fix) in the remaining couple months of this release
cycle. Such development means at least you are up to speed on the
subset of git commands you will need.

Core developers (those who have push permission for our official SF
git repo) are already aware that they should be using our adopted
"rebase" git workflow (currently summarized in
<http://kevinold.com/2013/04/17/my-git-workflow.html>).

All other PLplot developers are encouraged to submit patches to this
list that have been generated using the "git format-patch" command.
For the convenience of the core developers here who are going to test
and (if those tests succeed) push such patches, those patches should
be (re)based on the latest tip of the master branch for PLplot.

In sum, now that we have the power of git at our disposal, it is time
for all of us to start developing PLplot with new energy and vigour!
