Hi All I have just pushed some changes allowing wxWidgets driver to generate text sizes for layout purposes. However for use with wxPLViewer (i.e. when wxWidgets driver is used from the command line) this involves multiple checks backwards and forward. this is pretty slow. I have checked example 26 and this works fine, but takes a couple of seconds to render.
I'd like some comments on whether people think that the speed is an issue, especially if they have any real world examples they could test. Note that when using PLPlot within your own wxWidgets application this isn't an issue as the wxPLViewer isn't used and the driver can check the text size itself.
