My recent (commit 9d436ac) implementation of Fortran (as opposed to C) callbacks for plcont, plshade, plshades, plimagefr, and plvect completes virtually all of what I had planned for the new Fortran binding, and here is what remains for me to do.
* Test the routines that have Fortran callback arguments (those mentioned above plus the plmap* routines, plmeridians, plslabelfunc, and plstransform) with every variant of such callbacks to make sure there are no typographical errors in our Fortran binding concerning support of all types of callbacks. These tests will be implemented as optional variants of our Fortran examples. * Respond to any issues those tests turn up. That is it! Therefore, if you have an interest in Fortran or just want to help out in general with PLplot testing, please review the Fortran platforms you have access to in mental preparation for responding to the call for widespread testing of our new Fortran binding I plan to make after the above two items are completed (probably within a day or so).
