It is my pleasure to announce publicly that António Rodrigues Tomé has just become an official member of the PLplot core development team. (For a list of all official members of that team, see <https://sourceforge.net/p/plplot/_members/>.) António's primary development interest in PLplot is in that software's Qt5 related components, and he plans further changes (if necessary) for PLplot to make it compatible with Qt6 as well. It's great to have that Qt maintenance expertise on our core team because our Qt-related components provide some of our best-looking plots. However, I also encourage António to work on more than just the Qt-related components of PLplot if he spots anything else he would like to improve.
