Thank you for the reply.

I tried running the python examples, xw*.py, plplot_python_start.py
and some execute files. When running those files, I got error message:
  Fatal Python error: Interpreter not initialized (version mismatch?)
  Abort trap

plplot_python_start.py tell me that there is the plplot python module
in /opt/local/lib/python2.6/site-packages.

And then I re-install plplot with python25 as which python_select was
run before installation of plplot. However, the installation failed
with attached error message.

Please let me know;
 1) Which is better for plplot, python25 or python26?
 2) How to install plplot with python25 if plplot requires forcedly python25 ?
