Hi Matt: We last corresponded in June on the problems you were seeing with our qt devices. Could you try an svn update to get the latest svn trunk version of PLplot which should be released soon as PLplot-5.9.5?
I use the notation below that qt is the PLPlot device driver code, and Qt is the trolltech library. As far as I know all qt issues (including the animation one) have now been fixed for the svn trunk version of PLplot and Qt4.5 on my Linux platform. This excellent news is thanks to the untiring efforts of the qt developer Alban Rochel. We have had reports that a few qt issues persist for Mac OS X and Qt4.5 for a slightly earlier qt version, but so far we don't know whether those issues are solved for the latest qt. So far, there have been no reports about our latest version of qt and Qt4.5 on a windows platform, but we hope to get such feedback before the release. However, note that the time window for actually fixing any remaining non-Linux platform issues for the qt device driver prior to our release is closing rapidly.
