Possible to distribute a bookmark database with a Plucker .pdb?

I was asked today if it was possible to distribute bookmarks with a Plucker database, 
and I 
didn't know the answer.

Can the metadatabase .pdb and the Plucker .plb be installed together and work 
correctly on a 
different PDA?
