Native binaries for plucker-build can already be produced for each
platform, without having to re-write anything. I've done it already
for Solaris. Who's going to do the builds? I can build for Mac OS X
and Solaris. Or there's the Sourceforge build farm.

Is this worth the effort of making it easy?
