I also attached a test version that seems to fix the problem. Please try out all combinations (Exit/enter direct into document. Exit/enter direct into library. Etc.) and let me know if it fixes the problem. If there are no objections, then I'll commit this. It uses an additional boolean field to keep track of the status bar, in addition to the standard silkscreen status field.
