I've been playing around with making documents 'launchable' and then putting
the launch icons in a separate 'Documents' category on the Palm launcher.
This is a partial solution. But it doesn't wotk for applications on the MMC
card, as there's only one category for the entire MMC. There are probably
3rd party launcher applications to solve this problem though.
