Precisely. But I couldn't find this bug listed anywhere (in an obvious way) when I posted. Even now, searching for the words "depth" in the subject lines of the plucker-dev archives, as well as in "view all bugs", doesn't show me anything suggestive. But yes that's a good description of the problem and my fix was as described above. Is there any other history to this issue that I should have researched?
