How did you acquire the plucker package?

rpm, deb, or download from the website?

Also, when you say you installed PluckerDB, what exactly was it that
you typed in?.. was it not a .pdb file you installed?

Also, did you install the viewer_en.prc? (or other language equivilant)

I've never tested this on a device with low free memory, is that your
case here? Perhaps when its trying to create PlkrDocList and cannot
write it just exits gracefully? :).. I'd have to look into the code
but I'd suspect that even in that case it would present some sort of
error message.
