Alpha 2 of PlkrData is up at...
http://kittycentral.net/Plucker/PlkrData.html
Sources and a Windows binary are there, as well as a page explaining it.
All the basics work - registration under Windows (not Linux yet), saving,
and loading channel data and icons. Added since yesterday's build are:
Exclusion lists - they are transmitted (blob-form) to the other side like
icons.
Unregistering - PlkrData can remove itself FROM the registry cleanly
Creating a channel directory for icons, exclusion lists, and doc_files,
and using it.
Setting user (if in NEW_CHANNEL_TEMPLATE) and doc_file appropriately so
Desktop works with it.
Still to-do are the Linux registration and cross-process communications
with Desktop to force Desktop to reload the INI; this later one will await
a version of Desktop expecting such a message.
So this build is essentially complete. Feedback would be very appreciated.
