Mac OS X uninstall help (desperate?) -- please advise

Hi all-

I'd be very grateful for any help you plucker gurus can offer....

I don't know anything about UNIX, and thought I'd be able to download & use the plucker OS X version easily on my mac. I installed it once, but couldn't find the program anywhere after installation. So I installed it to the desktop and, again, no luck. Nothing there. So now I'm worried I have two copies of Plucker resting somewhere in the guts of my computer, in a code I can't read. And I don't have the skills to use it OR remove it!

Can anyone tell me where to find/how to remove the Plucker files I installed on my mac? I think I jumped the gun; I'm in over my head with this one.
