I had the same problem that you are mentioning here and the following is
what I did to resolve it.

Instead of calling regedit from within plucker I called a batch file which
inturn called regedit.

Here's my batch file:

Plucker.bat
@ECHO OFF
regedit /s "C:\program files\plucker\plucker.reg"
