I get the same result as you if I pluck directly the picture URL: /usr/local/bin/plucker-build --pluckerdir . --alt-maxwidth=600 --bpp=4 --doc-file ./Calvin http://images.ucomics.com/comics/ch/1992/ch920310.gif But in my case, I have a little script called from my crontab that gets the source code of the web page, parses it to find the line where the picture is referenced, and builds a new page with just the reference of the picture. Then when I try to pluck that HTML page, I get a cut picture :-( I guess I could just modify my script to directly pluck the gif URL, but just so that I know, what is this limitation due to when using the HTML page?
