I'm pretty fussy about what I recommend.  Generally, if I point at
something, I've tried it/use it regularly here.  If I'm _not_ directly
familiar with it, but only passing along second hand info, I say so.

I have Fonthack installed here on a Handspring Visor Pro under OS
3.5.2H, along with an assortment of other hacks.  I've tested it, and it
does work with Plucker.  I'm not currently using it with Plucker, but
that is not a matter of compatibility.  It's just a question of not
finding any fonts I like better than the standard ones enough to use in
Plucker.  The Visor Pro is a 160x160 low-res display, and I was
interested in fonts smaller than the default standard font that would
provide more lines of text on the acreen while remaining readable.

I've had _no_ problems on the Visor I can attribute to Fonthack, but I
can't guarantee that will be true for you.
