The "resets" seems to be a Visor-only problem; Adam has mentioned something about it being related to the feature memory. Have you tried to turn off the image caching in the preferences? The long time to update the document list is kind of strange unless you have an amazing amount of documents. Try to change the setting to manual update in the preferences. Still, if you only have a few documents I would like to find out why it is so slow on your device. That it is slow to render pages have been reported by others, too (see bug report #633), but I haven't noticed it being slower on my TRGpro and until I have some useful profiling data it's a waste of my time to try to figure out what is making it slower for some of you... > I understand the Visor is old in relative terms. I have an "old" device myself (a 16MHz TRGpro running Palm OS 3.5.3) and that is also the reason why I make sure that the hires code is separated from the non-hires code, i.e. I don't want the "hires bloat" in the version I'm running ;-) > I understand if the Plucker developers no longer want to support > older clients The only old clients we don't support are Palm OS 1 and also the older PalmOS 2 devices (I think 2.0.3 should still work, but I don't know how useful it might be considering the amount of memory it has:) Still, I do have plans to create a "slimmer" version that would work better on Palm OS 2.0.3 devices. That version would remove support for several features that won't work on that device anyway and by doing so decrease the size of the binary. /Mike _______________________________________________ plucker-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-list
