Maybe you could tell us what version that is, too.
What you call "the
latest version" might not be the same thing I would
call the latest
version (unless you build it yourself from CVS) ;-)

Since I don't know what version you are running I can
only guess
about a possible problem,

- when you upgraded from your old version the
preference setting was
set to manual update, so the document list is never
updated.

Try to change the preference setting or select the
menu option to
  update the document list.

If that was the problem then I would like to know what
version you
upgraded from.

** Brilliant! Yes, that was the problem, but
unfortunately neither of the settings you suggested
made a difference. What I had to do was use PrefEd on
the PDA to delete the saved preference file Plkr.
After I reinstalled the handlheld software, the docs
appeared. As far as the previous version of Plucker, I
changed computers and I don't seem to have the file.
But I think it is pre-Plucker-Desktop since I seem to
remember having to modify strings to grab sites (or
was that site-scooper?). **

Did you delete it using the Launcher app or some other
tool? If the preferences weren't removed it might not
help to re-install.

** You're absolutely right. I used the Launcher app
to uninstall, but it left the saved preference file.
Thank goodness for PrefEd! **

I need more info to be able to do that.

** You seemed to do fine anyway. Thanks for your
help! Silvia **
